I used to stop by the individual counters at Saks to get my skin care products, but then my good friend recommended The Bathroom. This store is absolutely darling and the staff was so helpful in recommending the right products for my dry skin. I was impressed by how knowledgeable the manager was. It was a little pricey, but I am willing to splurge to keep me looking fresh and glowy. I think this might be the perfect place to pick out Christmas gifts for my friends this year!

I have to say, I am a little surprised by some of the less-than-stellar reviews. Each time I shop here, I find what I need and always walk away with a little something extra, which is sometimes just a helpful suggestion from the staff for the next time I visit. I suffer from some skin problems, and I gotta say that when I finally went to a dermatologist at the Tribeca Skin Center, he recommended the same organic facial products that the Manager here had insisted I use a year prior to my doctor visit. Great for gifts or for selfish lavishes. I've got friends and family hooked on the place and the products. And if you're looking for fake smiles and inferior products, look elsewhere...like the Manhattan Mall.

Unfortunately I have to agree nearly word for word with the previous poster. The people who work here think way too highly of themselves and way too little of the people that come in with money to spend on their products.

It's quite sad actually because the place is great and has a lot of unique items.

This is a very cute store that sells bath and body works type products, but it's very different from them. You'll find things here that you won't find anywhere else, and the atmosphere of the store is very relaxing. It's a very old fashioned type of place and you'll definitely find something you'll like here. The staff is helpful but not annoying like at Bath and Body Works. They leave you alone if you want to shop in peace.

I'm not really sure why but I got such a warm and cozy feeling when shopping at The Bathroom. It's like a store out of a different era. The staff is truly friendly - not pushy friendly trying to get you to buy more than you intend to but actually helpful with the choices you're considering. They have a wonderful like of products here - accessories for your bathroom that you won't find in the bath superstores and a lovely line of products to spoil yourself with. You won't be sorry you took a trip to The Bathroom.
